what type of cleanser are you using. Neutrogena T-Gel should really help your scalp, though it's not the best smelling stuff in the world. If you are using a facial cleanser that is not helping it might be time to change. Do not use bar soap on your face it would be too drying and the bacteria could make you break out. Also if you start a new cleanser, give it a month before you decide it isn't working. If no cleanser helps you may need to seek the help of a dermatologist. Good Luck.

I would suggest switching shampoos. You are probably allergic to the shampoo and/or it is causing your scalp to dry out causing more oil production on the scalp and you probably touch your hair and your face a lot transferring that oil and adding dirt, causing the breakouts. I have that problem with Suave brands as well as ones like Panteen and Head & Shoulders.

well if you're under 25 you'll be dealing with it for awhile but you can start by using a multi-vitamin with 50 mg. of zinc. Also try tea tree oil in your shampoo and lotion on your face. Make sure it's a lotion or cream make for the face. Reduce your caffeine. It stimulates the oil glands but drys the skin. A bad cycle.

Go to the pharmacy and ask over the counter what topical creams can be used on your condition. They might be able to tell you can treat it with over the counter drugs or need to see your doctor.
