Ok, heres the story. I made out with a friend of mine that is 17. He started it, and I kissed him back. It was going to go further, but there was to much at risk. He also has a girlfriend. I can't blame booze, becasue I knew exactly what I was doing.
Is the age gab wrong???? Next time I see him, this will probley happen again. We both like each other, but the place where we live is just too small. Word speads fast and I am nearly 7 years older than him.
Should I let it go or presue it?

After he's 18 you can do whatever you want and so can he. I'm sure he's appreciating the experience...and the free nookie.

I'd say the fact he has a girlfriend is a pretty good reason to let it go. It's a cliche but a relationship based on cheating is never going to be a particularly strong one.
As for the age gap I don't see anything that bad about it. It's all down to the relative maturity of each person. I don't think anyone can ever say an age gap of a certain amount is always wrong, you need to take the individuals into account.

I was in a similar situation to you but i did not know his real age until he turned 18 three months into our relationship. I was 22 at the time. He also did not have a girlfriend at the time.
His sister turned up with a present for him and he was telling me he was 20. I did not take the news well. I went off my tree. But his sister sat me down and said if she thought it was wrong or did not like me she would of said something.
We were together for 10 years and had a son. It was a great relationship and we are still friends. If he is free and I would wait untill he is 18. If i knew my ex partner was still 17 i would not of been with him and waited. Trust your instincts with this one. Good luck

Well, its not a big sean but as he is still teen and you are quite mature, think as per your and his social image. Also as you said, he is already having a galfrnd, you should make him understand and not make such a mistake. This may make him feel bad about you when he becomes mature. Be wise and control your feelings. Hey, I know this is not so easy but you need to do that as you are now not in the age to make mistakes.

You have to keep in mind the men mature slower than woman, Are there really that many things you have in common. And is the currant girlfriend a friend of yours and are you willing to risk that.

it depends. if your state law says that he is still a minor at the age of 17, leave him until he is of proper age. you wouldn't want anyone thinking you're a cradle robber....
