To make a long story short, I met a nice guy online, or at least I thought so, we exchanged many e-mails, exchanged phone numbers, talked endless hours on the phone, finally met last Tuesday for dinner. That changed into 3 hours later, and he had to go home as it was getting late. We hit it off right away!! He invited me over for dinner Saturday night, it was so perfect you could not believe it!! I didn't leave until 3:30 a.m., told me I could use the guest room, but I had to get going. Kissed endlessly on the couch, I tried to call him and thank him for the evening, but he didn't answer the phone. I sent him a thank-you card, which he should get tomorrow. He said he really liked me and was happy I was there with him. The sight we met on, he deleted all my messages. I wrote to him before I wrote to you, but I doubt he'll answer me back. He claims he hasn't had a woman in his life in over 2 years. By the way, he is 55, and I'm a few years younger. What happened?! Thanks..

Im not sure what he did that was so terrible. Erasing the messages? As a guy I can't explain. The rest of the things you tell us, makes it sound like he was a gentleman for the most part, and that leads me to believe that maybe he was hoping that you would be desperate and easy. Be glad that things went well, and if he doesn't contact you in a day or two, just write the whole thing off, and keep looking at the positive aspects.

He is not interested. If he was he would have called you already, Im sorry, he problably just wanted to get some if he was telling you how much he like you all night. If thats not it then mabey he was in a fight with his significant other and they got back together and he doesnt want her to see that he was with another woman so he deleted everything. What ever it is, its clear he doesnt want you in his life so go find another BETTER man that actually deserves you. good luck

ps online is a hard way to meet men. I suggest going to social events and meeting someone that way. They tend to hide a lot less.

Well, maybe he decided he was not ready for an relationship, look he said he hasn't been with a women in two years, that's a long time. Why? At age 55 seems to me he is still playing games. Good luck.

you just did something that his x did and he cannot handle it. He doesn't know how to end it so he deleted what he thought would get rid of you.. there are lots of fish in the sea and he is not one of them. He found something out that he cannot take or understand and if its true so what? If he cannot handle a woman at his age he really does have problems. Take care Heather

Maybe he was hoping that you would give it up to him on the firsst night and seeing as though you didn't he may have gotten a little cranky over it, don't worry about him it's his loss and you don't need a person like that in your life. Find someone who really deserves you and is going to treat you better than this.

I assume that he's with someone else if he deleted the sites he was on and the messages you guys sent each other probably so his gf/wife wouldn't see it.

He wanted to get some. Don't be discouraged there are other men out there for you. He is a jerk, don't obsess about it and move on.
