Ours jr high races are a mile and a half. She is really lucky to have Jr. High CC. I didn't have it and started in High School CC this year at the full 3.1 miles. It sounds awful but once you train its not bad at all. I love it and can't wait for fall to come so CC starts back up again. Hope she enjoys it! A friend and I talked to our school board and got a jr high team started for next season because its important to start early.

I remember going to a really small meet once and they had the Jr High runners running at the same time at the high school runners. It was of course a 3.1 race and it was a 2 Lap finish. The Jr. High runners only ran it once so I would say 2.5 or 2.6 km.

Junior High is 2 miles for girls, 2.5 miles for boys.

High School is 2.5 for girls, 3.1 for boys

its 2 miles for girls

at times it would be 1.5 miles... :)

it all depends on the the place

it should not go over 2.5 miles...and usually a person practices a little more than the run...so she should be fine...

high school girls run 2.5
