Sure, if a small mold, such as an animal or ornamental item, you can use pure cement, no concrete mix. The aggregate will prevent you from filling the mold properly. Also wet the mold throughly and vibrate it by tapping on it when the mix is in. Don't mix it too dry, pouring consistancy.
If a stepping stone or flat surface, walkway or such, You can use a good concrete mix.

Yes, but technically the hard grey stuff that sidewalks are made of is not cement, it's concrete. Cement is just the dry, grey powder that - when mixed with water and aggregate - makes concrete.

Assuming you meant concrete, you can by a bag of readi-mix from Home Depot or Lowes, scoop some out, mix some water in an stir it well until it's slightly pourable (or at least scoopable) but not soupy.

Put it into a mold and tap all around it to get the paste to migrate to the walls of your forms. Then let it sit overnight before taking the mold off.

You might consider spraying a thin film of oil on your mold before you do this because concrete can be difficult to remove from a mold.

Concrete will be strong after a day, very strong after seven days and will reach about its maximum strength after 28 days.

Yes you can. What type of mold? wood, plastic? you will need to line the inside of the mold in order to facilitate removing the mold without doing damage to the concrete once set. Normally i would use old oil, petroleum jelly, Vaseline, or something similar.

Yes, all concrete buildings are made by pouring concrete into molds either on site or off site. The molds are known as formwork.

Yes, you just pour the mixture in. The difficult part is how to get it out! So, my advise would be to oil the sides of the mold first.

Yes. Are you making a walk way brick? or a stepping stone? depending on what thryp of mold you may want to spray it with cooking spray to help it come out easier.
