can i give my dog anti gas meds?

i just rescued this dog a few weeks ago and i love him to pieces, he lays at my feet all the time, but pretty often a rancid smell burns my nose and makes my stomach curdle, something has got to give, i am already surrounded by gas machines, with my husband and 3 little boys, but now my dog, what can i do. i know he doesnt need to poop, cause i make sure he takes care of business before he comes in, its almost like hes claiming his territory in a very different, smelly way. i know hes not, it just smells that way. help please

DO NOT DO THIS. They are highly toxic to dogs and literally shred their stomachs, they arent even that good for humans!
