im been top of my class for a long time and so has this other guy who is a complete nerd. im not nerdy. but this other guy keeps on making fun of me that i like him but i dont. im not sure if he doing this because he likes me or that the other nerdy guy likes me. my freinds tell me that the guy who bugs just bugs because he likes me. what should i do?

he is bugging you cauze he likes you. don't ask why but that is what we do. it's getting your attention and making you think about him for longer than what you should. so it is working. you will most likely have to make the first real move. i doubt that he will, even if you confront him.

Yes...the guy that is teasing you is doing it because he is interested in you and getting your attention that way. If you want to show him you are interested you are going to have to encourage him in another way, so he is comfortable enough to ask you out.
Maybe if you know he is interested in something...like baseball, or whatever, you can have an extra ticket available and offer it to him, or something similar so you get to see him on some other basis. You are showing an interest in a casual way.....and you can also let him know you are not interested in the other guy....but I think he is just using it as a point of contact with you.
Most guys are more scared than you are...something good to remember. They have no confidence...and its up to you to be friendly and encouraging enough....even compliment him , etc....so he gains confidence. But you can encourage in other ways as well....by including him in some party, etc...so he sees you like him..without having to say so.
Also...since this guy is who he is teasing you about, you could turn the tables on him and tell him...o.k...since he is giving you a hard time...he will just have to help save you from his attention....it might just work!

i think the bugger is into you, lol. even though it seems immature, boys all the way into highschool find picking on the girl they like fun i guess? they probably think if i pick on her, she'll notice me more. one day you should say sumthing like if he (the nerd) does like me, why do YOU even care anyways?.. you might recieve and interesting answer or he might be speechless and feel a little dumb. :P

Girl don't let those distrations get in the way of your school for reals. Ignore them, they don't matter. Keep your damn grades up. Guys will always be around buggin' a hottie.
