All in all the bottom line is, it depends. First of all it depends on the insurance you have, most will only partially cover braces and will not cover whitening since it is cosmetic. However, some dental plans that are better may more fully cover your braces depending on how severely you need braces, like if your teeth are growing weird and causing you pain. Also some better ones might offer you a discount with a specific company to whiten your teeth. I would encourage you that if you REALLY need braces to get very good insurance *because most dental plans are not too great* or to at least get compudent-which is an affordable dental insuance. As for whitening, wait til you get those braces off because after you get them off you might have spots on your teeth causes by unexposed enamel and will want to save money for the whitening then. Good luck to you and thanks for serving in the military!

Dental insurance doesnt cover braces or not always if some do. Insurance NEVER covers teeth whitening because teeth are not suppose to be white.

Generally no.
Braces, there may be a plan or 2 available that will provide adult ortho coverage, but it'll be hard to find.
Teeth whitening-probably not ever.

DENTAL INSURANCE COVERS BRACES FOR MINORS BUT NO INSURANCE COVERS WHITENING AS SUCH.
FOR WHITENING TRY USING CREST WHITE STRIPS.
