ive been talking to a guy for a year. he tells me that he likes me more then a friend and if his life was not crazy right now he would consider going out with me. but the other day he told me he wants me to be happy but not with him. i am so confused. can somebody help me?

I think he means exactly what he said. How is that so hard to understand and accept? Just move on without him or suffer the consequence.

This means he is full of bs. What is the "crazy" thing that keeps him from seeing you? Probably nothing, he wants his cake and to eat it to. He is saying he doesn't want to go out with you but he will make you think he does so you still hang around and treat him specially. Hit the pavement and find a guy worthy of your caring.

Move on before you really get hurt. You're confused and he's confused. I say for you to save yourself the extra drama because it's all weak game.

I think he said that because he is scared of rejection. He doesnt think you are into him so he essentially puts the ball in your court and is letting you make the decision for him
