Is there some way I can get a loan for at least $9,000 - $20,000 with bad credit and not being employed? I already know about federal student aid, that is not what I am looking for.
Thanks for your help.

I dont think you will get credit unless you have the means to pay it back (i.e employment) you may need your parents to sign security for the loan.

You can get a bad credit personal loan: Today the lenders have started offering nearly all varieties of loans for people with poor credit record. They are also introducing many new loan products meant for this group. Now people with poor credit can get the same choices as those with the good or mediocre credit. Today you can use bad credit personal loans for many purposes like car purchase, vacation or even debt consolidation.

I don't know about 20 000 that's a lot.

but you CAN get a student loan. a bank can't deny that even with bad credit because it's for your education. You either get an education or work or life off the government. So they'll give you a student loan.

You'll need to take in your acceptance letter, proof that you confirmed the offer, and the page stating your fees.

Don't expect more than your tuition tho.

Bad credit is one of the worst problems to have... however there exists a solution.

I will hereby talk from my personal experience.

I did debt consolidation a couple of years ago, however If I had to do it again I would pay to some minor details,
if someone wants to get out of debt today it is pretty easy with a debt consolidation plan, however it may get a bit tricky at times, I suggest you get as much information as possible online on this first,

a good place to start in my humble opinion is astraight to the point ebook with question and answer I found :
