If someone acted like the Jesus we see in the movies, wouldn’t they end up strapped down to a bed? He claimed to be god, talk to god, and have god as a father. Boy, it sounds like he needs some tranquilizers. I'm not a psychiatrist so I cannot diagnose Jesus. If anyone knows, what medicine would you put him on and what would you diagnose him with.

We have many people today who think they are God and hear God talking to them. They also manage to get many followers. Some people who claim to be God are also very intellegent and are masters of illusion.
Either Jesus was insane or a master manipulator and quite possibly both. Even today we have many people around like this.
I'm not a psychiatrist and don't know what medication they give people who have delusions of grandeur, hear voices and claim to be God...

I think he was just leader of a cult that was based off of the Jewish religion, which eventually spread and became its own religion due to mass amounts of followers. Like any cult leader, he lied and claimed superpowers and connection to God to get people on his side.
