so i am a girl (obviously), and on thursday, i am going to dye/highlight my hair. my hair is brunette with a little red in it but just a little. i was thinking going to a very light brown with so blonde highlights, or just doing a bunch of highlights and lowlights, what do you think? guys, what do you think looks good on a girl, and girls.......i just need advice!!!

yeah light brown (but not too light) with blonde highlights will be gorgeous

You have red in your hair and that's a very important thing to tell the stylist who's going to do your hair. You're not going to have good results with lighter colors if you want a real blonde highlight. Your hair's going to go red if it's not done right. I agree with the person who said you're better to keep your base color where it is for now and try out carmel highlights. See what your hair's going to do when the color's put in before you go for bigger plans. Otherwise you might be really unhappy with the results.

i think that on brown hair dirty blonde highlights look tha best. I have brown hair and one time i got really bright blonde highlights and they really didnt look good.

just put some carmel and blond highlights in your, it seems that your current color wont overpower the highlights and dying it lighter seems unnessecary

dont go too light too fast, take it down just a few tones at a time so you can gradually get to a point you like, lightening is very damaging and can be shockly hard to cover after

try just some subtle carmel colored hilites. the chunky stuff is old news.
