Yes actually I do, but that's because I'm an Asatruar and those are my Gods and Goddesses.
Asatruar's are lucky, we get all the days of the week named after our beloved Deities.
Monday... Manni's day; I pray to Manni
Tuesday.... Tiews' day I pray to Tyr
Wednesday...Woden's day, I pray to Odin and Frigga
Thursday...Thor's day; I pray to Thor
Friday.....Freyja's day; I pray to both Freya and Frey
Saturday... Saeter's day; I pray to Saeter
Sunday... Sunna's day; I pray both to Sunna and Baldr

do not forget approximately the days of the week! Saturday is termed for Saturn, Thursday after Thor... you apart from would have fun our vacations and stick to our traditions below the guise of naming it something diverse and placing it as a each and every year date instead of a each and every year experience. Christmas = xmas; Easter = Ostara; All Hallow's Eve + All Saint's Day + All Soul's Day = Samhain. you have taken our symbols (the fish and bypass have been the two initially Pagan), our theory of godhead (the Trinity became into first a triple goddess)... purely face it already. you're purely yet another Pagan purely with much less love, greater dogma, and a diverse call. We have been right here first, honey, and we are actually not likely everywhere. ;-) Blessed be! )O(

It's a fair question if you ask me. I mean, Easter is almost here and here will come the christians demanding to know what easter eggs have to do with christ and what kind of a name is Easter and why do we have so many pagan symbols in OUR Christian holiday. Why aren't those same ninnies complaining about the weekday names or the month names. Janus for January on down. Maybe we can homginize our society to the point of only using color names for months and numbers for the days of the week so that no one can be offended at anything.
Peace!

using today's calendar does not mean paying homage to the pagan gods.
this is the reason why the Bible never gave specific names for each day, except the seventh one. God calls it the "Sabbath" day. The others? just first day, second day, and so on.
What matters for me is to set apart the seventh-day Sabbath as holy and sacred..same with what God had done from the very beginning of this earth, and what Jesus, Paul, and the apostles also did.

As a happy Pagan, I do. However, I se the Greek versions, so instead of Thor on Wednesday, I think of Zeus, and on Friday, I link of Aphrodite.

After Creation, God gave us an example of a day of rest by resting Himself. He did not need it, but knew we needed it.
Because our nation was founded on God's Word and Faithful Fathers, we kept one day to rest. Sunday (no matter what pagans named it) is the day we all set aside to rest and serve our Lord and Saviour.
God Bless the Postal service and any other business (FedEx or otherwise) that acknowledges this day as set apart or sactified as a command of God.
It isn't just a day off, or why would they pick Sunday? Saturday would be a more obvious choice to me.

As a Christian,I think it would be nice if you worshiped the way I do, but I understand you have your own way toworship. I am not angry that how or what you worship is different. I'm happy there is much alike in both beliefs^_^

not angry about your trek - more like sadness for the lost
but bordering on annoyed at your ignorance of Christians
