Faith can get neither to truth nor to justice
The idea that one can be certain, without proof, that God exists, if applied to the practical matter of administering justice would certainly have dire consequences. Imagine a juror that by the same standard of thinking decides the guilt or innocence of an accused. If evidence and logic were disregarded in the belief in God, it can also follow that they would be equally unnecessary in the prosecution of a juridical case.
Since we know that justice can only be served if there is no compromise between reason and faith, we are likely to trust the person who consistently follows reason. For if we believed that it were possible to pursue the truth by mixing reason with the sentiment of faith and cast aside the unyielding evidence of unquestionable facts, both justice and truth would become a mere matter of opinion.

My thought is that you must always remember God created us to be on earth to do His will. Sure, He will give you anything you need to "run the race He has set for you" . To God, think about eternity. Put infinity on the bottom of the fraction and then on top put a human life span. 75 over infinity. So to God,our lifespan on earth is like one blink of the eye to Him. We see our life span if we focus on earthly life as really long and most important. When you learn to look up to God each day and say, I'm yours today, use me as you will, he may make you sick and poor like he has to me, but I am happier than I've ever been in my life and He is like so so close. It is only when we fully surrender and realize we are here to run the race for Him,and in the running ,maybe like a marathon runner's high, we get God's high, at least I have.

The problem they don't even say his name. They sing and talk about His name but hardly a christian says His name. Jehovah is one of the many names. Krishna is His original Name and Allah, is also his name. God has unlimited names and we are to always be remembering and saying His name. I like Hare Krishna that is glorifying Hare (the feminine counterpart and Krishna God) want the original New Testament before King Constantine misconstrued so many things go to gospelofthenazirenes.c. for all details. (for the sincere seekers of truth)

Yes first of all you have to be christian. You can't just pray and get whatever you want. And, if you are a christian you will ask for things that are in God's will. This doesn't mean ask him to win the lottery and he'll grant it. He knows your heart and knows the outcome of everything.

I think that if it is something that lines up with God's will, yes.. i think if it is something that is material and selfish that it may not be delivered... but there is a little more than 'believing'.. .it is entrusting our lives and choices to that sifting of Christ.... where all our thoughts and prayers and desires are sifted thru God's will for us

I think I love that true statement. Of course, you do realize that there's more to be taken into account from the Bible concerning that scripture right?
