I am very over weight and on occasion underneath the fat that hangs on my belly has a sweaty discharge that is brownish in color and has a very strange smell can anyone tell me what this is?

It is a yeast infection. You need to wash and dry the area well with soap and water. When it is yeasty use an antifungal cream. To help prevent skin on skin keep a soft cloth in that area to help absorb moisture.

It could be yeast, not nessecarily an infection but you need to see a doctor. In the meantime wash really good with a mild soap and dry properly. Lift up the apron and put some unscented babypowder or Gold BondTalcum Powder there to keep it dry. That needs to be done every day.

you are not getting air to this area=you need to wash it several times a day and put powder there to try and keep it dry
