I drink quite a bit of beer. If it starts to affect your life as in working...relationships...health. Then it is too much. So far....(knock on wood) everything is very good in my life.
I think it affects people differently.

Mmm. In my last year of college (last year), I got pretty wasted at least one weekend night every week, sometimes both. Lately I haven't been drinking at all. When I do, I have about half and half of a cup of Jack and Coke. (Yeah. They're good strong.)

Okay, I'll admit it. I think it's pretty fun to take 2 or 3 shots before giving a presentation or going to a night class. It's just that vodka tends to make me gag. Funny how the body develops its own defense mechanisms to prevent a person from doing things it doesn't like.

Anyway, I went through a phase some months ago when I drank maybe 2 or 3 weeknights a week - a whiskey after work to relax, that sort of thing. People do use alcohol as a "crutch," but I'm fairly convinced that daily life and daily problems in our f'd-up American society today will kill a person faster than if they had just had that drink and calmed down a bit, or sat that hour in the bar after work to relax with a drink and talk with the guys. I think the food we eat at McDonald's is more poisonous than a couple drinks a week.

Cheers! (Oh, I'm not going to drink tonight, but I'll be thinking on it fondly.)

An average for me is between 10 and 15 beers or it's Equilivent every single day. Can't go over a day without haveing withdrawl syndroims. Spend 70 bucks a week or more on booze. In the past year I've drank on over 300 days.

I don't drink and never have. Beer and wine smell seriously funky. Why make yourself drink something that tastes bad? I know a lot of people who have complained of hating the taste of beer at first, but they came to like it the more they drank it. Why make yourself?

Oooo about a beer or daqurri a week.....sometimes none at all. It really depends on the week I'm having...possibly 5 this week. Ya not really caring what it makes me feel like in the a.m.

the recommended british health guidlines are, 21 units per week for men and 14 units for women. 1/2 pint of beer = 1unit. single measure of spirit = 1unit. 250ml of wine= 1 unit. cheers.

Alcohol is a serious crutch for many people. Drinking more than socially - two or three in a week indicates a serious problem.

I have two-three glasses of wine a week. If you have more than one a day everyday that is too much.

2 glasses of wine a night...sometimes more. Often I think it's too much, then I don't want to miss it..
