Both. We have to worship The messenger and God because the messenger is the divine word of God Incarnate. He is simultaneously one with and different from God. His words are from God. Being he is the representative then he is worship-able. (the Guru) But the son never becomes God that is a misinterpretation. There are different sons sent by God at different times places and circumstances depending on the consciousness of the general Masses of people. Krishna says in the Gita " when ever their is a decline in religious principals and the truth appears to be lost, I appear again and again or send my representative to reestablish the truth." That is why so many religions. So we have to see that the message has been somewhat misconstrued and lost of Christ but it is now reestablished. Go to gospelofthenazirenes.c for the original teachings of Christ.

Wow. There's a whole lot going on in your post. Let me see if I can help to unravel some of the questions you have here.

1. I believe that God is Triune; that means He is God expressed in 3 Persons. God the Father, The Holy Spirit and His Son Jesus.

2. God is one, and that there is but one God (Deut. 6:4; 1 Kings 8:60; Isa. 44:6; Mark 12:29, 32; John 10:30).

God the Father is the Sovereign Ruler. The Holy Spirit is our Guide and Comforter, and Jesus Christ is God in human form. Jesus came to experience our lives (yet He sinned NOT) so that He could act as a "go-between" for us and God. All three distinct, yet One in the same.

Good question. I worship the one who sent him- God. Jesus was a great man, but i do not believe he was God- but the son of God, and i don't believe in worshipping man, but following their example. And i don't believe Jesus would be so hubris and vain to want people to worship him as a deity.

Look at all the scriptures that say Jesus IS God... Here are a few:

John 1:18 No one has ever seen God, but God, the one and only Son, who is at the Father’s side. He has shown us what God is like.

Titus 2:12 It teaches us to say no to godless ways and sinful longings. We must control ourselves. We must do what is right. We must lead godly lives in today’s world. 13 That’s how we should live as we wait for the blessed hope God has given us. We are waiting for Jesus Christ to appear in all his glory. He is our great God and Savior.

Yahweh or the translated Jehovah is the name of Jesus's father and Jesus himself tells us that he isn't not greater than his father. On the other hand Jesus gave his life for us and does deserve praise. That is why we pray to GOD (Jehovah) but end prayers with "we say this prayer in Jesus name amen". if you want a full scriptural break down and proof of this email me at Tdrew12180@yahoo.com.

Interesting question-I always pray to God or Lord but I think many pray to Jesus and don't make a distinction. Theologians could debate this for hours but the bottom line is to pray how your faith moves you to do.
