Well, it is obvious that this person is telling you this for one of two reasons...either....he or she is very serious about not getting involved with anyone outside his/her religion in which case you should honor that request and move on.....or
This is an excuse being used so as not to let you try to become involved with him/her (a kind one so as not to hurt your feelings.
Either way....it is time to move on. If things change later I'm sure they will be in touch but I wouldn't count on it.

Religions are like different 'languages' for universal laws -- concepts that are missing or unclear in one system may be better defined and understood through another. So these are tools to help us see the greater truth, by comparing and contrasting. The same way you can be bilingual and learn to speak different languages to relate to different cultures, you can learn different religions so you can communicate and relate to more people. I encourage you and your friend to embrace one another's ways and take on this challenge of exploring your cultures together. (The Bahai faith encourages people to study different religions to "add" unto their knowledge, not to replace one with another which is not necessary.) I think you will find valuable meaning and purpose in your relationship whether you are just friends or decide to date as well.

I personally do not follow any religion follow Jesus. I hear people out but I recognize what God wants from me even when I fall short. And I fall short a lot. Jesus' promises are kind, they never tell about " We can never be".

The muslim god is a moon god, and has 3 daughters, the Christian & Jewish God is Jesus (Jews do no longer understand this yet, yet will presently after "they seem upon Him Whom they pierced.")he's the only Begotten of the father. This elininates allah, because of the fact he has 3 daughters. he's not comparable to God. in certainty, the cults, have distinctive doctrines of Jesus, hence they have a distinctive Jesus from the real Believers. they have depended on in a jesus that isn't be able to keep them.

...if they are following God Word... it clearly says "be not unevenly yoked with a non-believer"... what that means is... you can't hitch a plow-horse up with a donkee... "they" just won't work right... so... hitch up "like" things and it works just fine... she's a believer....? you're not...? (ain't gonna work)
...sorri...
