There are many ways people will suggest for hiccups, but my favorite and the one that always seems to work for me, is to take a small amount of water in a glass and take a match, light it and put it out in the water...then drink the water. Honestly, sounds weird, but it works for me! Good luck. I hate hiccups too, so I feel your pain.

There is a new technique for curing chronic hiccups. It's called "digital rectal massage". Just make sure they won't go away before asking your doctor.....

they do no longer..... to make certain that somebody to get 'cured' of homosexuality, they should choose to alter. they additionally ought to wish for God's help and actively attempt to alter... The church can not relatively do something (different than say that this is incorrect, that may reason human beings to choose to alter, even though it would not do away with the gay emotions a individual has) to make a individual end being gay. there's a gay couple in my church (i don't be attentive to who they are). they have been going for years and have not been 'cured' of it yet. The preacher preaches that homosexuality is a sin, yet would not hate them (or every person else) for being gay. My church hasn't 'cured' them, and that they are nonetheless residing in that sin, using fact they do no longer choose to alter (or maybe they have tried to alter, even though it become too difficult and that they gave up).

hold your breath till you can't breath then if that doesn't work then get a sip of water and put your back on the seat part of the chair and swallow the water but make sure your head is hanginSTEP 1: Swallow 1 tsp. white table sugar, dry. A study found that this stopped hiccups immediately in 19 out of 20 people. Repeat up to three more times at 2-minute intervals if necessary. STEP 2: Gulp down a glass of water if the sugar doesn't work. STEP 3: Eat a piece of dry bread slowly. STEP 4: Breathe in and out of a paper bag. Do not use a plastic bag under any circumstances, and don't do this longer than 1 minute. STEP 5: Gargle with water (see 'How to Gargle'). STEP 6: Repeat the above steps until your g upside down off the chair or just go upside down.Repeated swallowing works for mild cases. Do this by holding your breath and repeatedly swallowing as fast as you can, or by slowly drinking down a beverage with as many swallows as is possible. It’s important that you hold your breath for as many gulps as you can. Placing a napkin over a glass of water canl help moderate your speed. Relax, sit still and breathe in deep, slow, rhythmic breaths expanding and contracting your lungs completely.
The only thing that can get rid of my mammoth hiccups is to hold my breath. Inhale (or exhale) deeply and hold the air in (or out of) your lungs for as long as you can (but not so long you pass out). If you can, concentrate on quelling the hiccups as you feel them coming. Willpower is everythingMake yourself burp (if you can). Done well, this can get any air you might have swallowed out of your windpipe and stop your hiccups. Think of burping a baby right after they've eaten. Jonathan swears by this technique. I've found it physically impossible to make myself burp. But then again, he's a man; burping's like second nature to him, right?Make yourself burp (if you can). Again, the same principal of breathing disruption seen in the above steps is applied here. Hyperventilating into a paper (never plastic) bag may help you to focus on the breathing enough to stop your hiccupsSwallow a teaspoonful of dry sugar to get rid of hiccups. Remember the Mary Poppins song (sing with me now) "a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down, the medicine go do-own"? Well apparently she was right, and a study published in the New England Journal of Medicine showed that swaloowing a teaspoonful of dry sugar immediately stopped the hiccups in 19 out of 20 cases.
