Possessive Adjectives are used to show ownership.
Example: Mi libro, Tu libro, Su libro

the possessive adjectives:

of mine = mío/míos/mía/mías
of yours = tuyo/tuyos/tuya/tuyas
of his, of hers = suyo/suyos/suya/suyas
of ours = nuestro/nuestros/nuestra/nuestras
of yours = vuestro/vuestros/vuesta/vuestras (suyo/suyos/suya/suyas in Latin America)
of theirs = suyo/suyos/suya/suyas

some examples

the house of mine (my house) = la casa mía (mi casa)
the house of yours = la casa tuya
the book of hers = el libro suyo
the books of ours = los libros nuestros
