Happy. Hopefully, you'll be outspoken enough to fight against the wave of religious fundamentalism that's trying to worm it's ways into our laws.

*c'est la vie*
Your life's decisions are yours to make.
After analyzing (in detail what they require, not just the arguments themselves) such things as the cosmological argument, the teological argument, the five ways, the problem of causation, the teleological argument, as well as the apparent contradictions in the "you*know"where," it's seems almost silly to still believe, or rather, requires one to defy occam's razor.
But, I guess if you can't disprove something that you've never seen, it can still exist, so you should therefore go out on a limb and believe that it IS true. Makes perfect sense.
By this reasoning, all religions are true, and Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, Mother Nature, Father Time, and Jack Skellington are all real.

It only makes me wonder if you consider yourself a “non-believer,” in which case you’d be a hypocrite.
Like so:
Believers: Believe God exists (Christians, for example). Believe that God doesn’t exist (atheists, by definition).
Non-believers: Do not engage in the act of believing in God’s existence (agnostics, by definition).
So those who are engaged in the act of believing (i.e. “believers”) unconditionally include disbelievers (atheists). If one is an atheist, one is, by laws of logical deduction, a believer.
It also makes me wonder why so many folks put “agnosticism” and “atheism” in the same grouping when disbelief, atheism, is clearly a state of belief which is completely opposite of nonbelief, agnosticism, which is in a category all by itself.

Well, it makes me wonder why you chose that (not like I am degrading you or anything)- it makes me wonder what your story is and what experiences have lead to this point in your life.
And, after about ten seconds of contemplation, you pass from my mind with no net change in my mind.
Why would you waste the points to ask that anyway?
Hmm... I shall wonder some more...

I say good for you if that is what you really believe in. If you saying you are an atheist because you're pessemistic then that is stupid. If you have good reasons about atheism don't be rude to people who aren't atheists.

The better question is, how does it make YOU feel? To have asked a question like that, you must be considering that there is an alternate possibility to unbelief. I'd like to hear more from you on this topic!!!!
God love ya (even if you don't love Him back!!!)

Sad for you. I'd like to see everyone have the peace and joy that comes from knowing that Jesus loves them. I also hate the idea that people who reject His gift of salvation are not going to spend eternity in Heaven. I don't want you or anyone else to suffer in this life or the next.
Give me all the thumbs-down that you'd like, but you did ask how it made me feel. And that's my honest answer.

It makes me happy knowing that the world is one person closer to the elimination of religion.
It used to be ok, I guess, to accept Pascal's Wager and profess a belief in some mythical being "just in case". But, thanks mostly to the muslims, more and more people are finally realizing just how dangerous religion really is. The sooner everyone accepts the fact that there are no gods, the better off we will all be.

Like you're trying to provoke anger. Also, I wondered how one becomes an atheist? Did no one love you enough to teach you about God? Or is this your choice? Do you feel empty? Hopeless?

I feel sorrow, not just for you, but some of these that said they didn't care. I find it very strange that some people will confess to be atheist and denounce God.

It's fine with me. Believe in what you want to believe in. If it makes so much a difference to others then they should start turning their consideration and attention to their own lives and not to the lives of others. I am so against those people of the various religions (namely CHRISTIANITY) who try so hard to change the lives and/or beliefs of others, looking down on those who aren't part of their religion. I just hate it. That is why I believe that the purpose of religion is becoming obsolete, its key ideas withering away, little by little by little, until...
