Does anyone know where I can buy some nice furniture and not being so expensive?

Try looking at a Goodwill or Salvation Army Store close to an affluent neighborhood.

Sometimes you can go to the salvation army or similar places and find nice furniture made of real wood. Generally you will have to sand and re-finish the item however you can't beat real wood over this compressed junk. I bought end tables at 14.95 each. The pleasure you 'll see in the finished product is well worth the time and effort.

i would recomend ebay. you can search for items by distance so to get something close. try the classifieds in the newspaper.
