I was eating with my mom at a restaurant Saturday, it was my birthday, anyways I ran into a girl from my highschool who was finishing up waitressing some other tables. She recognized me and came over and talked to me for a few minutes. Well I asked her for her number and she gave it to me (my mom was away) Anyways, I want to call her up and ask her out but I'm not sure if she has a boyfriend or anything. Should I just try and roll the hard 6 and call her for a date?

You should call and ask her if she'd like to go out, "if you don't have a boyfriend, that is?"...so to say to her. I can't hurt. She may've just given the number rather than say no to be polite. But if you give her the opportunity to come clean in a phone conversation (since you did ask for the number), I think it would be an appropriate question to ask.

Yeah, just call her. Girls get mad when the guy doesn't call within 2 days. So call now, before she forgets. It doesnt matter if she has a boyfriend or not. If she does, she'll probably mention something about him throughout the chat.

Call her up casually and ask her to meet you at a casual place. If she gave you her number, she probably is single. Go for it.
