You would definately have to go to a dry cleaners and ask, but definately check at where you bought the dress. Most place have a steamer and will do it for free. If not, if you are having alterations done, your tailor should do it when they are finished.

You don't iron it. You can get it steamed professionally or get an inexpensive steamer at the department store ($20-40). Hang it and very carefully steam each layer (use distilled water so there will be no minerals in the water, keep it a good distance away so the material is steamed, not wet). Worked great to get the last minute wrinkles out of mine.

Don't let anyone iron your wedding dress. You need to get it steamed. If you have alterations they usually do it for you. I don't think it would cost more than 20.00 and you can get it done at any store that is willing to (stay to Ladies wear stores)or a seamstress. I did my daughters flower girl one myself but I didn't want to be bothered to do my dress and the seamstress did it for me no charge.

Go to the dry cleaners and have them give you an estimate. Also, they wouldn't be ironing it especially if there is beading or special details. Make sure you ask them the price to have it steamed.
