Unless it is physically impossible, why would you want to formula feed any baby? Especially since you have two boobs full of fresh, perfect temp, antibodies and nutrition?

My faith considers breastfeeding to be a moral obligation unless doing so is medically impossible or would place a trully unreasonable burden on the mother. Even w/o that belief, I can't imagine CHOOSING to give my child an inferior source of nutrtion. Formula is a FOURTH choice on the World Health Organization's list of infant feedings! No matter how much they improve formula, it will NEVER be the equivalent of breastmilk.
Breastfeeding can be challenging, but it is not always hard. Support and education go a long way to making things easier. Once mom and baby get the hang of it, it quickly become second nature. Then, it's FAR easier than formula feeding.
Breastfeeding isn't BEST, it's what's BIOLOGICALLY NORMAL for babies! Saying it's best implies that breastfeeding is "better" but formula feeding is okay too...like choosing between organic and regular produce.

The well being facility I gave delivery at did not push formula i'd have suggested no yet I knew that to be despatched homestead she necessary to have a bowel circulation. a pair hours after she ate the formula she had a bowel circulation and she replaced into discharged from the well being facility. except that she has been breastfed considering that delivery. i'm on WIC and they do no longer push one nor the yet another, they're in undemanding words in contact about the little ones nutritional needs and in the journey that they are being met. One clarification why WIC asks is because they favor to understand in case you want vouchers for formula or if you're breast feeding you get more beneficial tuna and carrots.

I breastfed my son (4.5 years old) for 4 months straight and my daughter (2 years old) for 2 months before I went to formula. I am 40 years old and firmly believe that breastfeeding is best. Even the formula companies admit to that. BUT, you must do what you can for you and your childrens' sake that helps everyone. Even a tiny bit of breastfeeding at the start gives kids an advantage with the antibodies and bonding, so doing a little breastfeeding, then switching to formula gives benefit. That being said, if it is going to stress you to the point where you're not feeling good and you and everyone around you suffers, then make sure you feel good. My mother told me with both pregnancies, "If you don't make it, the baby won't make it." Love is the most important thing of all, and that comes in a breast AND a bottle! Good luck!

BREAST IS BEST!!!!
I have only breastfed so I can't make the comparison you are looking for but the reason I choose to breastfeed is because it's so much more beneficial to baby!!! It wasn't a hard decision!!! I have more than one child and wouldn't consider formula feeding unless by some freak of nature breastfeeding wouldn't work. And I'm not talking about "quitting because it's hard"! I'm talking about getting mastitis or baby has medical issues.....something along those lines.
BREAST IS BEST!!!

I wouldn't do it. The breast milk has so many advantages that even the best formula will never have. I wish I would have been able to breastfeed my son longer, so if you can do it.

Breastfeeding hurts! But is the best for your baby. You have all these antibodies and vitamins that formula just doesn't have. When you go to breastfeed and it gets painful, just look at your little munchkin and remember that your starting off their life great.

I haven't done it, but there is nothing wrong with it. Sometimes trying to bf and take care of another child is just to hard. You do what you feel is best for you and your family, not what other think is best. g/l :)
