I'm a 20 year old college student. For the past few weeks I've been having many aches and pains throughout my body. First it was headaches, then the back of my neck and shoulders ached and now my left arm, shoulders and the backs of my legs ache. When I wake up my left hand tingles like it's "asleep". I went to the emergency room a couple weeks ago when the headaches first occurred because I had a mini panic attack. They did blood work and a cat scan of my head and didn't find anything. I feel normal some days but the past couple days my left arm, upper back and legs ache. I've never really had any pain in my body except headaches before this and now all of the sudden different parts of my body tingle and ache and I just feel tired. I really feel like I need to go to the doctor but I don't have the time nor health insurance. I'm not sure what to do!!! :(.

I was told at the ER I was dehydrated at the time. I intake lots of caffeinated beverages on a daily basis. I am not trying to drink more water and I'm taking a multi vitamin every day with my lunch. Also I was trying to think of things that could cause this. I drive a sports car in the summer months, but during the winter I drive a beat up old civic and it has a small gas leak. I've been breathing it in on a daily basis. Could this cause my body to ache?

I didn't mean not trying to drink water, I mean I am trying to drink more water.

Could be stress, lack of exercise, maybe mono or lyme disease, but those should show up in the blood work. you might also check the symptoms against thyroid difficulties.
it may just be your mattress, try sleeping on the floor.

Soda is really bad for you and caffeine is a diuretic causing dehydration. All this information over a period of time should pint right to what is causing your problem. I would say that it is stress because of the mini panic attacks. College is very stressful I know I also feel like you do some days and have had panic attacks. What helps me is walking or exercising three times a week. As well as hot bubble baths. I am only 21 by the way.
