y is it everyone i know who has a child quits breastfeeding within a week of two...and then says "i couldn't make enough milk" is there a bad boob epidemic lately? what about all them 1000s of years formula didn't exist ? were those women just lucky....were boobs better 50 years ago?

It can be extremely painful, with "cracked nipples" & such, so with the option of formula, sometimes that seems like a much easier & much less painful way to go.
