..just had to ask because on a lot of answers I've seen, guys say they feel really intimidated by girls who tower over them, even if it's just slighty.

Sure. Most guys prefer it if their gf is shorter than they are, but seriously, who cares if she's taller than he is?

I find that men tend to date women shorter than them but being 5' 10" myself I have dated men shorter than me so the answer would be yes once in awhile they will date woman taller.

Yes - see Nicole Kidman & Tom Cruise/Keith Urban; also Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes. Some guys find tall girls hot.

sure I would, I mean I'm 5'10 I wouldn't mind a girl that was 5'11. but she'll probably wear heels making her like 6'1. A women taller than me doesn't intimidate me but I guess some guys it does.

Yes, some will even marry girls who are taller. My husband is shorter than me, it doesn't bother him. He even wants me to wear heels sometimes. Although, I did date a guy shorter than me another time, and he didn't like the heels....Stand tall!

i'd be hesitant to ask out a girl an inch taller than myself (5' 7"). though i think it could work out if i had a close connection and friendship with her prior

I don't think most guys would object to dating taller girls. I think its usually the girls who object to dating shorter guys.
