you could go up north to broom and the Kimberly's or you could go down south to pemberton to Karry valley. there are many activities you can do together like canoeing, wine tours, see the chocolate factory, fishing, great restaurants oh the lists go on. get on the net and have a look at pemberton, or broome.
pemberton is very tranquil if you like that. :) i did.

I guess it really depends on the time of year you get married. Between Oct and April, anywhere in the south west would be lovely. Between May and Sep, the north west is nice.

We honeymooned in April in Northam. It was the only place at the time that did Hot Air Ballooning in Western Australia. One of those activities you'd probably only do once in a lifetime and a honeymoon is a good time to do it.

Unfortunately, the weather was not conducive to ballooning so after 3 cancellations in 3 days we gave up and headed home via Hyden. We didn't plan on spending our honeymoon at Wave Rock but it was a lovely little getaway regardless.

Eventually, after being married 4yrs and with a 2yr old in tow, we made up for our cancelled honeymoon and went around the world for 3.5mths. It was the trip of a lifetime.

Wherever you end up, you may like to take some time before and after your trip to just spend time at home, setting up house, getting to know the area you're living in, doing day to day tasks together, just having time off.

Happy honeymooning!

Margaret River in the South or Kununurra in the far north. Depending on how much money you want to spend I have been told that El Questro station is an awesome place for a honeymoon).
You certainly wont be disappointed wherever you chose to go as you have picked a great state to visit.

Anywhere in the South-west, as far around as Albany. My son the surfer likes Margaret River, but anywhere down there.
Why he says that I don't know - he got married on the beach at Yanchep a few weeks ago! But that's not far from his home.

Broome is lovely. You could spend a few days there and take a trip up to cape leveque which is very secluded, they have lovely beach huts and plenty of things to see. Feels like your the only ones on the face of the earth up there and watching sunsets on the tip of the cape is magic.........very romantic.
