if you are expecting a yes or no answer to this then i will probably have to disappoint you!! because, our human body has its own defense mechanism to ward off pain(due to release of......ooow,never mind) and fight off infection to a certain limit depending upon your immune system or defensive mechanism. you said, you got it done on thursday and i am writing this on monday 3/12/07 and if the pierceid site is not already inflammed, warm to touch, dark red, or painful upon touching then your body is taking care of itself in warding off any infection. if it gets worse, see an MD/_Pharmacist for help!! Remember, any intrusion into our skin can cause a defensive move by our body to fight off evil, just like Martial Arts!!!

It should be fine but I would skip the bubble bath just to be safe so it doesn't get irritated. Also women should be cautious with bubble baths as this can lead to vaginal irritations or infections some times.

do not bath yet. Give it a few weeks first. Have a shower and cover it with some saran wrap so water does not get inside. It could cause an infection so wait for it to heal properly first.
