Can I use sunscreen and Jergens Natural Glow (gradual tanning) lotion at the same time? How should they be applied?

Don't mix them together, this will dilute the Jergen's Natural Glow. Apply the Jergen's Natural Glow and allow it to dry sufficiently(at least an hour). After it is dry and has set it to your skin, it should be OK to apply sunscreen. I've used both on my face this way, because using a product with sunscreen is essential to preventing facial wrinkling. I usually use the body Natural Glow at night, which would allow sufficient time to dry and sink in but have found the facial lotion rubs off on your pillow if you do it at night.

I don't know what is in the Jergins so the better question might be "is it a safe product?" and "How does it work?" If it is safe, you could do an experiment to see how the two work together. Put the Jergins on first and then the sunblock (30+) and give it a try by using the combination on one arm, for example. On the other use only sun block. See if there is a differerence. The sun does not need much time to change your skin so do not overdo the test. Nowadays, it is necessary to wear high SPF lotion and sun blockers, according to dermotologists. Mostly because of the diminished Ozone layer and new knowledge about how skin cancer is contacted. It kills so be careful. Congratulations for taking steps to take care of your skin.

I would use the gradual tan at night before you go to bed and use the sunblock in the morning. That way the gradual tan isnt diluted at all....its already pretty light until you build the color up.

i dont see why u CANT wear them together. just put on sunblock first and then the tanning lotion. so the tanning lotion doesnt smear when you but on the sunblock after..

Yes - ! You can. Put the sunblock on first. Then the self tanner lotion. Wait until one is dry before the other. BEfore you put them on, make sure you shave. GOOD LUCK !!

i admire this tanning lotion it rather works rapid and in case you place it on popular you get a superb organic tan with or with out going outdoors. be sure you get the single that is on your epidermis shade.
