DO NOT use home remedies on their eyes. It can cause blindness. For God's sake, take them to the vet and get the appropriate treatment. Seriously, they can go blind from eye infections that are easily treated with the appropriate medications.

Sorry, sweet, but there are NO home remedies for eye infections, especially in kittens. Eye discharges are often a symptom of an underlying sickness like upper respiratory infection. The BEST thing you can do is take the kitties to the vet to have their eyes seen. I realize that with two kittens, you will be very concerned about the possible vet costs. So do this: clean their eyes with warm water with a pinch of salt dissolved in it (salt is a natural preservative that fights bacteria). Use cotton balls. Do it periodically. With luck, the "eye infection" will turn out to be just some kind of dust irritation and will clear in a day or so. But if they do not, you need to take the kittens to the vet becuase they could have upper respiratory infection which can be fatal to kittens.

Is there such a thing as a home remedy for any animals illness, only a vet can say for sure what to do. If you love your kittens, care for them properly. How do know it's an infection? Only a vet can tell.

NEVER use human eye drops on a cat!! There is no home remedy for an infection. Any infection requires antibiotics. Kitty needs those desperately to avoid blindness. If this isnt treated PROPERLY, the kitty can go BLIND, not to mention how horribly painful this is for kitty. Please take it to the vet!!!

you can try some eye saive. That might help but the best bet is to seek the aid of a vets opinion. Depending on how bad the eyes are. Kittens at this age are very vulnerable. They can be fine one day and almost dead the other.. Keep an EYE on them

If the kittens arent REAL young, like newborn, you can use the same stuff humans use for eye infections. If you have any in your medicine cabinet.

clean water. Leave it alone. The cats antibodies are fighting off the infection better than any chemical you can toss at it.
