My best friend (who is a guy) has told me he has been in love with me since not that long after we started being friends, which was a few years ago. He has been a great friend and im scared if i get into a relationship with him i might mess things up, i would rather have him as a friend then not at all, but at the same time i kinda want to know what it would be like to be in a relationship with him. What should i do?

To be honest the friendship has already been put in jeopardy b/c he open up and told you. I think if have feelings for him, do it. He was friend so communication is there. Do it. One regret is you will always wonder what could have been.

I had a best friend who was a guy. I knew this man for almost 10 years, I loved his friendship, we were so close. We decided that we both had some feelings and would like to take it farther. We did one night, he got weird after it, I found out I was pregnant, haven't heard from him since, that was 4 years ago. My advice, stay friends....you never really know someone until you go to the next level.

If u guys have been friends that long and have not had any sex don't do it , cause I to believe it will mess up y'all friendship and if you two do get together and realize y'all have made a mistake it will not be the same any more, and to me a TRUE friendship is priceless........................my best friend is a male and we have been friends for 20 years and he is sexy as all get up but I will never sex him cause I love the way things are with us and he knows too much about me...ha ha...............Good Luck

Go and talk to him about it that what you are saying here. Life is all about taking risks, so you batter take this chance. you can still be his best friends even after something happens. you just need a liitle bit of undestanding before you get into this relation.good luck.

definitely open up on how you feel, honesty is the best.... talk to him about it and say that you'd like to be more than friends but if it were to come down to it not workling out tell him you wouldn't want to ruin your friendship let him know that.....

Try to think about how he feels towards you and how strong his emotions are towards you, not just how you feel about him.
