First off, no, don't do Ex-lax. Secondly, choose a simpler dish because cookies are easy to mess up if you're showing a bunch of beginners.
Shoot, my first assignment in cooking class in high school was how to chop, dice, and julienne a potato. It was a great beginning assignment for the rest of my class, but terribly boring for me. Try to take that idea up a notch or two so your audience doesn't get bored! Good luck! Hope this helped you out and have a great week!
P.S. It doesn't hurt to have a Q & A session at the end for anyone who didn't quite get your presentation.

They only allow that kind of stupidity on TV or in movies, poisoning people is not funny, you could go to jail. Here's what to do instead, try real hard to grow up.

No because you'll get suspended, at least that's what happened to a guy I knew when I was in school

HELL YEAH! Just watch them all run out of the classroom for the toilet and then watch them fight over the toilets as there wont be enough for all of them. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

i wouldn't. even if no one knew who made them, they would still find out so either way you might end up suspended, expelled or even worse getting sued or in jail
