don't be so hard on yourself, not all people are ready to receive the blessings God has for them. All you can do is share the good news and it's up to them to act on it. just remember you tried. God has given us the choice to worship the God of our choice.

"it makes me mad when people beleive in false gods"

False gods? That is YOUR opinion. To many others, your god is the false god. Religion and spirituality is a personal thing. What is right for one might not be right for another. It is also very insulting to claim yours is the only truth out there. How do you know that for sure? Leave the biblical scripture out of it for one minute and really search deep down. How can you know? How do you know that the Norse, Greek or Egyptian gods are not the "True" way to believe? They were around a lot longer than the Christian pantheon. I am not trying to be insulting, just trying to get you to think for a moment.

"it is my job as a christian to become more like jesus and change everyone to beleive in him i try but people just dont wanna beleive."

I think it is a nice thing to try to emulate Jesus the man. He was a good man with a loving heart, according to what I have read about him. I say go for it, but as far as it being your job to change the world...dontcha think that is quite a hefty responsibilty? Especially to those that do not want to be proselytized to. As I stated before, religion and spirituality is a personal thing. To have someone come up to me and start spouting off "You are going to hell! Convert now before it is too late!!" just kinda turns me off. I don't wanna hear it. The way I see it, it is my business and my choice how I live my life. You will not see Pagans proselytizing to those of the Big 3 (Christian, Judaism, Islamic) religions. Just ain't gonna happen. They are happy for those that have found the right path for them whichever that may be. Maybe you should try to be happy for others as well?

"what is it that makes you not wanna love someone that died for us and has a place for us in heaven"

Again...those are YOUR beliefs. What makes you not wanna love Isis, or Zeus, Athena, Odin? Because you chose to follow the Christian religion. To you, it seems right. It is the same for others. To them, it seems right. You are not going to convince people to give up their faith just like that. They have built relationships with their gods just like you have with yours. How easy would it be for someone to convince you to drop Jesus like yesterday's news? I'm willing to bet not very easily...same for them.

If you are a true christian then you would want the actual teachings of Jesus Christ. King Constantine Misconstrued everything for his own power and burned all the original new testaments and put together what we call the bible today. If you want the absolute truth and are a sincere seeker of Christ then go to gospelofthenazerines.c Read the Gospel of The Nazirenes and know the real Christ You are really only following the Roman empire with today's Bible.

There are many sets of religious beliefs in our world. Some older and some newer than Christianity. Think about how you were raised as a Christian, well, others were raised with the same vigilance in their faiths...

It's not your job to change what people believe. It is your job to live a good life... People have the opportunities to choose their own beliefs and lifestyles, that's why god gave us the ability to suffer our own consequences.

Don't be mad at what people believe.. Be happy that they are living righteous lives in their own faith and be accepting of all people. I am Christian, and I believe in god..... If my beliefs are somewhat right, then God will still love all the Muslims, Shintoists and Buddhists just as much as he loves his christian children.

Just be happy, don't condemn others. And lastly, its not your place to judge.

Take care

Well, what makes you 'believe'? It's your faith, or how you were raised, or something significant that happened in your life that lead you to believe in Him. Some others can have all the miracles in the world, and still, they'll choose not to believe. If they can't see someone/thing/being with their own eyes, they'll refuse to believe it. Or if something like an all-powerful being seems illogical to them, then no amount of pressure, or conversation, etc., etc. will lead them to believe. It's just something that some people have to experience for themselves. Also, 'faith' means believing in something with all your heart, even if you've never set eyes on it. And some people just cannot put their faith in something they believe is nonexistant.

This is all just my opinion, of course, but there is a part of me that can understand their reluctance or downright refusal to accept something like this. I've had doubts of my own, but in all, I really do believe that a God exists.

Good luck with that, sweetheart. Though everything you just said has only reinforced my notion that I made the correct choice in leaving the Christian church. To follow Wicca, which doesn't tell me that it's my job to annoy everyone with my constant preaching/superiority complex. Besides, it doesn't sound like your religion has brought you much peace. I would admire you, and Christians in general, a lot more if it were enough for you to simply live in the way that you think is right, in quiet dignity. Goddess Bless!

You are putting a heavy burden on yourself that God did not. It is not your job to change everyone to believe in him. It is your job to become more like Jesus. If Jesus didn't change everyone, what makes you think you can?
It is the job of the Holy Spirit to convict people. Just be a Christian and let Him do the job.
God bless.

How can you get mad at other people for believing in their own gods and yet not understand why people choose to not believe in yours. ITS THE SAME THING!!!!! What makes you think that you're right and everyone else is wrong? Do you consider yourself smarter and better than everyone else? Its arrogant can't you see that? Its what your religion has done to you. Snap out of it! You're not gonna convert anyone just cause "it makes you mad." last time I checked, not everyone thinks like you.

I don't believe in God or Heaven or Hell. I don't believe in "false gods" either, though. Different people have different beliefs, just like you believe in your Christian God. There's nothing wrong with that, but some people don't want to be forced to change their beliefs just because you think yours is better.

I've seen this question a lot today, and everyone who has asked it has said more or less what you have: that they don't understand how someone could not believe after feeling God's presence in their life.

I can't speak for other atheists, but I can tell you my experience. I was raised in a religious household, went to a parochial school, went to Sunday school. As an adult, I went to church and fasted and prayed. I looked into other faiths. Bascially, I tried very hard for a number of years to find a basis for believing, but I just never felt anything. Finally, and after much soul-searching, I decided to admit to myself that I didn't believe.

If your faith gives you comfort and strength, then I'm happy for you that you have it. But for some of us, it just never worked that way.

Eh, sorry, but I don't believe a single religious thing. The reason is that there isn't enough facts or evidence to convince me.

The reason why I don't love (or even care) about this Jesus fellow is because I don't believe there was anyone like him that existed and "took all of our sins".

Neither do I believe in heaven or hell.
