i want to dye a little peice of my hair hot pink but i have dark brown hair so i would have to bleach it. once i bleach it will my hair be more dead then just dying it and skipping the bleaching part?

Yes, bleach will damage it more. But to get the hot pink to show you will have to lighten it somehow, and bleach is the only way to accomplish that. If you condition the piece really well after bleaching it and after applying the hot pink, it won't look as dried as it would if you hadn't conditioned it. I had blue hair during the summer. Yea, my hair got dried out. But if you use a good conditioner on it, it will feel healthy and not look too dry.

Yes indeed. Bleach is very damaging and if you don't know what you are doing you can cause your hair to fall. Please consult a beautician before trying it on your own inorder for them to give you pointers. They might even do it for you!! Lol but if you're going to put dye in your hair,make sure it is a rinse. Keep your hair moisturized and give it a deep condition every other week. From someone who's been thru the damage before

You would have to bleach it first to get the pink to show.But the bleach would damage it more.

YES IT CAN DAMAGES YOUR HAIR IF YOU DO IT ALL THE TIME BUT YOU CAN ALWAYS GET A HOT OIL TREATMENT.
