There are many unanwered questions. When I ask a rightious
person, where did kane get a wife, or if there was only adam and eve, did able take a sister for a wife? If so is that not incest? Or where did Noah get all the wood for his ark? Trees
were not tall back in his area. So no long board could be cut to make such a long ark ( 3 football fields long) and all the tar he needed for the ark to seal it. And if god was so grate and knows all, why did he let the basterd kill that little girl in florida and bury her alive? If he kewn that was going to happen when he created Adam and Eve why create them?.
The answer is as always, have faith or he is god and he can do any thing he wants.
So he gave us free will to beleive or not. Why beleive? No prest or preacher can answer these questions.

All I know is that God knew everything that was going to happen on earth before he even made it. He knew Adam and Eve were going to eat from that tree and he knew Cain was going to kill Abel. He gave us the free will to do whatever we wanted. He takes lives and he gives life as he pleases. He has a big plan that involves some people getting killed but his plan will be carried out to completion one day. He uses what he already knows will happen and works around that to fulfill his plans. I think we will all keep our free will at least until Jesus comes back so he won't automatically stop anyone from killing or doing anything bad unless someone prays for it.

Because in order for the entire plan of this earth age to move forward, two things had to be:
first, free will had to be real and not interfered with by God.
Second, a comparitor is needed, so that there is something to choose from -
this is why although Satan had caused a war, and when defeated was immediately judged, found guilty, and condemned to death, God still keeps him around. He is providing the comparitor.
As far as your comment about the commandment;
Thou shall do no murder is the command,
and murder is defined as: lying in wait to do fatal harm - not all killing is defined as premeditated murder: killing in war, killing in self-defense, or in defense of another.

Who knows. Only God has the answers to some questions. Why did God tell his servants to kill all those who didn't believe in him and then turn around and say hey thou shalt not kill. Did God get what he wanted and so he no longer needed us to kill anymore oorrr maybe through the centuries the religious leaders with Lucifer in their ears rewrote the bible so that it would sound confusing and in the end turn many away. You be the judge.

Because God allowed for free will. God gives each individual the agency to do what they like, evil or good. This is the beauty of it...and also separates us from automatons. The commandment about killing is a guideline. In the Book of Mormon, Nephi was commanded by God to kill Laban to obtain the sword. This is a 'righteous killing' in a sense, because we are commanded by God...and killing with regret is not like murderous killing. God's plan is mysterious. Also reference the Bhagavad Gita where Shiva commands Arjuna to kill the 5 brothers in a war. Each canon allows for justified killing...but why? God's will is too profound to be analysed or compared to human comprehension of such will.

You are confusing murder with necessary killing. Cain murdered Abel, but Samson killed as required. Therein lies a great difference.
God's great gift of free agency to man was such that all of us may make our choices and take the consequences of them rather than be forced as Lucifer had wanted to do.

God has given free will to all man kind he could not intercept this. actually this was the first recording of a murder and they say Kane was marked by god after that .they are not sure of what that mark is .but they do say our children pay for our sins so Kane went on to marry and have children and build a city maybe those decedents wear the mark to .did you know that Kane was black or of dark skin and that is why in the time of the war with Hitler that he tried to kill all Jewish people because he said they had the mark of Kane.

At that point there was a lot more people than just the two of them. Maybe the others were not so bad.
Besides at that point there was no law against killing.
That came a lot later. Those two were just notable to the story.

He didn't determine there would be no more killing. That's not the way the universe works.
