Shouldn't be, maybe you should talk to the security dept of the credit card company.
But maybe it is possible, if you didn't tell the company that has automatic payments authorized on this account.
If you have authorized payments with the card, you have to make other arrangement with that creditor.

If you are asking about payments to another company then No it will get declined when they try to process the payment.

If you are talking about your regular monthly payment on the card itself then if you had an automatic payment set up and the card has a balance still, then yes they can still withdraw the regular payment until it is paid. Once it is paid there would be no reason for them to take money out.
