ok everyone i just got this really cute bf. and for some reason he gets sooper jelous. he doesn't like when i hug my own friends (girls),oh and he aslo doesnt like my friends... he asked me out like on thursday, but we have been hanging out more than usual the last 4 weeks. he's sooper sweet to me. i really like him and i have no idea whats going on with him! ahh i need serious realisonship help.

ok so i have told him that i like to be around my friends, and he just doesnt like my friends because their "Punk" and i told that i dont like his friends either but hes so sweet... why would he want to hurt me??

You need to set some parameters now. He needs to cool off on the jealousy thing. Guys who do not like your friends tend to be guys who are controlling. That is unless you really have some obnoxious friends. Jealousy is normal in a relationship as long as it is kept in check and is not an action that goes overboard. You should talk to him about the way he is behaving. These are your friends, they were there before him, and most likely they will be there after him unless he drives them off. Do not let him do this. They are the one constant in your life that I guarantee you will need.

You have two options-
Tell him that your friends are no competition to him, and that girls hug each other. Make sure, you also say that your not bi(if you aren't, it seems like no) maybe he feels more comfortable. Then say, you like to go to the mall with your friends, you need "me" time, so ask for some space. It shouldn't bother him, he really gets the point.
The other is...to dump him. If he doesn't want you to be happy, then he is being selfish, and I'm sure there are it her guys that would be your boyfriend. Tell him that you don't like being controlled, it makes you feel uncomfortable.
If you break up with him just say, "Look, ____name____, I want to do some of things I want.to, i.e. being with friends. Sometimes I hug my friends but that's no reason to get jealous. I'm sorry but, I want to control MY life. Thank you for the time we had together."
Remember: He won't know unless you tell him.

There will ALWAYS be another boyfriend! Please hear my heart when I say run away from this guy. There are so many red flags going up and if he is your first bf than you should probably listen to people that have had more than one...right. He is potentially a very dangerous kind of guy. These types like to isolate the women in their lives so that they can keep them intimidated. I just encourage you to stop this behavior before it is too late and you are in the hospital breathing through a tube.
