it shouldn't be a problem the only problem that you would face would be the cost for just a couple of hours. most day cares only accept kids on a full time (8-9 hrs) or a part time(5hrs) they might charge you more if hes there for only 2-3 hrs. especially if its past lunch if you take him at like 10 and hes there past lunch they might charge you as a part timer. but you would have to check into it and find out what your local day cares are like. but i would find it perfectly fine to take him to a daycare to get him around other children it might calm him down a bit too.

A three year old preschool program sounds like what you are looking for. Many churches offer programs like these where the children gather for a few hours at a time, two or three times a week. Because of his behavior problems, I would look for a program that boasts of a strong routine, structure, and teacher direction. The responsiblity of " Big Boy School" and interaction with new friends will allow your brother to establish independence without rebellion.

I should look into a nursery school for the three year old and perhaps daycare for the other one...how old are you? Are you able to take them to a mother/toddler group? That might help too. The reason I asked about your age is I wondered if you were in school or anything when these groups would be held...

Yes it is okay. You could put if you can afford it. It would be good for both of them and for you. Depending on where you live, the weather should be getting nicer now, so take them outside even if it is for only 15 minutes.

SO ARE YOU SAYING THAT BECAUSE THEY'RE ALWAYS IN THE HOUSE MAYBE THEY SHOULD JOIN A DAY CARE TO GET THE INTERACTION WITH OTHER KIDS?? THAT'S REALLY MOM'S DECISION, BUT YOU CAN TELL HER YOUR IDEA...
