i would if it was something that i could be satisfied with for the rest of my life...like something neutral that doesnt mean anything or that u might regret later...i might get some stars like on sienna millers shoulder but thats just me
i wouldnt get one that was a guys name or a band name or something that i might grow out of or end up hating later

I'm 39 with 5 kids...I had been raised to believe that ppl with tattoo's were "biker" material...dirty...unclean...deflimation of the body according to God. I was totally against them & refused to even date a man with one. Now that I'm this old & my oldest son who is approaching 20, in the USAF, has gotten two...my mind has changed just a bit. Now my son has called this week and asked if I'd go get a matching tattoo with him. One that shows our bond. Perhaps make it our own secret "family crest" that only his 2 bro & 2 sis can get. Thus handing the tattoo down to their children one day. Having put it like this...how can I refuse?!

I would not. The way i see it is what happens say 5 months from now. Say you hate the tattoo. What now???? Are you willing and financially able to get it taken off??? They are kinda like a car that can't be traded in. To keep the tattoo looking good you have to get it touched up every so often. And by the time you are like 80 it will only be a big blob or a little blob.

I am actually planning on getting one soon...it's a form of art...you are decorating your body with something that has meaning to you...or that represents who you are...a tattoo can tell alot about a person...

I have tattoos allready, and I would get them all again, if I had the chance. I think your body is a canvas, and you should cover it art that is meaningful to you.

Yes. I would. If I was old enough.
Why? Because tattoos are a creative way to express things you like, and how you feel. Yes its permanent, but why not? You only live once.

Yeah. As long as I go somewhere that is 'safe.' Personally I want a really complicated one. I want it though because it would represent the memory of one of my friends that passed away. But the reasons vary from person to person. *I am also really interested in body altercations*

Yes i have and I dont regret it at all. I m thinking to get more..Lots of comments of hating them when you get old and wringly....hey listen..live for the moment and dont think of what your tat will look like 30-40 yrs from now! Life is too short.
This just doenst apply to getting tats either. :-)
