There are a group of Christians that are going through the posts, giving thumbs down to all the answers that are negative in any way towards Christianity!

I know, I know... They are representing the lowest common denominator, the chicanery of a sophomoric and obtuse intellect, but if we banded together, I'm so sure we could beat them up.

I'm a Christian and a reasonable person, and I certainly don't agree with giving something a thumbs-down just because the person and I have opposing views. Or opposable thumbs, for that matter. ;-)

That's about as ridiculous as it gets, and I suspect that there's a way to report it, too, if I just knew on what grounds. You'd have to catch someone admitting to it, but I imagine it's a violation of the TOS.

Guys, I apologize on behalf of my fellow Christians who don't always act the way that Jesus would want them to.

I am an atheist, and I don't like when I get a thumbs down for stating what I believe. I also don't like your childish talk about beating people up. No one here is two years old. Most of us can be mature. A thumbs down will not kill us, even if it is given unfairly. I don't like them, but honestly, I don't care. If they want to waste their time, doing what they think 'contributes' to god by sitting in front of a computer day after day, clicking a little button, let them! It isn't our problem. Let them turn into little robots. WE DON'T CARE. It just proves they are too immature and childish to listen to other people's beliefs.

Come on, The group of Athiests, Agnostics, and various others do the same.

"But if we banded together, I'm sure we could beat them up."
Is this the Athiestic belief? You shouldn't say things like that. It's uncool, man.

I don't really care all that much. Thumbs-down doesn't hurt you. It's not like somebody is going to start believing in God because they see a thumbs-down on an atheists answer. lol.

That's a childish waste of their time.

Nobody should be leaving answers that are negative towards any religion! That's insulting other participants and it could/should be reported.

Update* People are leaving me thumbs down for saying not to insult others? Athiests need to get a life and stop trying to put down Christains! If it doesn't work for you, fine! But it works for us, so accept our right to choose!

But I like my thumbs down! It means I have gotten under someone's skin and I LIKE that.

I could really care less
One more thumbs down here or there is the very least damage I have come to expect from the christians. They can touch me here, but they cannot touch my heart anymore

I don't think it will leave a welt. People of all sorts are entitled to express their opinions, even if those opinions don't agree with yours.

Reason is what we have. Let's use it.

I thought that happened all the time. Oh well the thumbs up or down gives some a sense of power.

I noticed too, but I agree with previous statements that a thumbs down is kind of a victory. It means we're hitting them hard!
