I noticed that there is a circular spring that moves when the watch is moving and when it stops, the watch stops. Maybe this is important?

The first answer is correct. A watchmaker will oil and clean it for you. In the days when all watches were mechanical, an oil and clean every two years or so were routine maintenance. The circular spring that moves is attached to the balance wheel, which keeps time. You'll see a lever attached to it. If your watch is running fast or slow, you adjust the lever. Tightening the spring makes the watch run faster. Slackening it slows the watch down. Look after your mechanical pocket watch; they're getting hard to find.
