i want my light brown hair to be blonde?

I want to ligthen my hair to be almost blonde and dying isnt working how do you do it. i have heard all the stuff i just dont know exactly how to do it.

try dying in steps have u tried that? just get lighter and lighter with each dye but start out just a very tiny bit lighter than ur hair

You need to use a high enough volume of developer.
Usually if you want to go 2 or 3 shades lighter, your developer will need to be 20% to 30% to lighten the hair. Then you must color with your choice of colors. Of course a lot depends upon the underlying pigment in the hair, it can get tricky.

Ion Color Brilliance is a great color line and you can find it at Sally's.

I would HIGHLY suggest a salon for best results. You definitely want your hair to be in the best possible condition before trying to color.

Also, you would need to do skin sensitivity tests first and then a "strand test" so you know what you'll end up with, timing counts.
