For the last 3 months my knees ahve been killing me. They only hurt in front. I am at work for 6 and half hours, and am on my feet the whole time. I have worked there for over a year and never had problems. I have bought expensive shoes, but my feet start to burn. Even when I wear "crocs", my feet burn. Not only do my knees hurt and my feet burn, I get dizzy. I take Paxil and Synthroid. If anyone has any of these symptoms, I would love to know what it is and what I can do.

It's probably "chondromalacia patella".
It's pretty common.
It usually caused by overuse (like your job - on your feetall day), or misalignment of your feet/hips, foot pronation, or being overweight. It is most common among women (because of our hip alignment.)
Your knee cap (patella) is rubbing against one side of your cartilage. This is what causes the pain.
There are things you can do to help. See an orthopedic doctor.
They will likely prescribe orthotics for your shoes.
In the mean time... get a bag of frozen peas!

Arthritis, ligaments, and collagen problems could be the problem. Have you ever played certain sports, like hockey? It could be a common problem like hockey knees! Paxil is more of a mind drug; wheras, Synthoroid is used to treat thyroid and hormone imbalance problems. If your feet are burning, it may be something like Gout- a Rheumatoid Arthritis type of condition. I know a really excellent herbal remedy for this which seems to have a lot of research and scientific backing to it- it's and herb called Devil's Claw! If you cannot get a treatment that works from a professional physician, this might help!

I am going to a orthopedic dr for the same reason. I was told I have weak knees, really weak thigh muscles. I am doing exercises for it but still hurt. He said if I still have pain in 3 weeks he will order a orthroscopy. Maybe you should go to the dr and let him eliminate things and take it from there.
Good luck

Make an appointment to see an orthopedic doctor. They can X-ray them or do other tests and tell you what is wrong.

here is a link to knee pain

**one of the causes noted here is tendonitis (from frequent same movements). Usually they use a brace of some sort to support the joint for tendonitis...but check with a doctor for what it is..

You need a fatigue mat to cushion the floor. Sounds like hypotension and/or peripheral vascular disorder.

Maybe you've screwed up the ligaments around your knee cap.
