What is the most common modern-day keyboard layout on English-language computer and typewriters.

qwerty by christopher sholes with the typewriter.
dvorak is faster but nobody wanted to learn a new way of typing, so auguste dvorak lost the game of the more superior keyboard.
there's also a keyboard that arranges the letters according to the alphabet.
maybe qwerty will not be the way in the future....if anybody would bother to learn a new way of typing. ;)
(anyway good typist type fast bad typist don't)
