Usually it means that the person just ended a relationship.
"On the rebound" means that the person is "bouncing back" from a relationship that ended, but they haven't necessarily gotten over the person; they're looking for a new relationship, not because they care about the person, but because they want some comfort and attention, so that they don't have to face the feelings of being hurt and rejected.
Rebound relationships usually don't last, because of their superficiality.

When a person gets out of a relationship without getting over it, so u move on to the first person u meet. and that person is the rebound

It means that theyre upset about some one breaking up with them or like something happened to upset them so they find some one to find comfort in adn date them (the person she dates is a rebound) usually rebounds dont last long........
Ex: She was so upset about her father dieing she found a rebound

It means you just got out of relationship and your heart and mind is not ready to completely give your total self to another person. It takes a while for a person to move past the old relationship and truelly be ready for another.
Most rebound relationships don't last because a person is not willing to give their whole self to the new relationship.

a rebound means you get over some1 very quickly. like he/she breaks up wit you then like 1hour to a day later you find another girl/boy........
