Only use the word "beautiful" once you've secured a relationship. They don't truly appreciate the meaning behind those words until you have proven that you really believe it yourself. Saying a chick is hot, while it could be a lie too, is a little more acceptable in their eyes because they want to be the center of attention or be like many "hot" girls you see in the media/advertisements. It's that whole obsession with beauty that we have in the states.

yes especially if you are 14. Girlls that age want to feel that warm tingly feeling in her stomach but compliment her on how beatiful she is and how her eyes captivate your soul or something corny like that. Telling her she is hot may actually pressure her becuase you may come off to strong and it is kind of offensive. Don't go off and say she's hot and sexy or whatever because you are 14, be a cute little gentleman because she will tell ALL OF HER FRIENDS about how special you made her feel. I know this because I once was a 14 year old girl. Good luck Casanova!

Yes. Most girls like hearing gorgeous or beautiful instead of hot or cute because those words are so stereotypical.

If someone called me gorgeous or beautiful, I'd take that as a real compliment, instead of hearing I'm hot, believe me!

I like to be called beautiful more than gorgeous or hot because hot is just a stupid thing to say! and gorgeous is something you say when they are all dressed up for prom or something.....

It's better if you tell a girl that she's gorgeous, or beautiful. Even cute or pretty work better than 'hot'.

Yes I think there is a difference. Hot has more of a physically attractive but less sophisticatedly kind of connotation. Gorgeous sounds both attractive and elegant. Beautiful, to me encompasses inner and outer beauty, and means elegance and grace. Take my advice- stick with beautiful! I don't know one girl whose dream isnt to have a boy she cares for say tell her she's beautiful! But don't say it unless u mean it ;-)

Saying she's "hot" makes you sound like a player. Telling her she's gorgeous will only make her feel uncomfortable. Let her know she's beautiful.
