always say us christians are miserable. Thats not true at all, some are to get to a good place. Im not miserable at all, im actually the happiest ever. Letting God take my problems is amazing, and not having to deal with them.

Whats yours thoughts Chrsitians?

What an incredible feeling to let go of your fears and guilt and give it all to God. It is not a religion of guilt, it's a personal thing between YOU and God. I think it's awesome that you have never been happier. God blesses each of us!

Hey, I say good for you. I never said that Christians were miserable. I am an Athiest and lots of Christians think that we are miserable too. I am most certainly not. Not having to deal with your problems though, that's just called denial. Even god would tell you that. Make some decisions on your own.

Uh... huh.
Well, I suppose I shouldn't be in this thread since I'm not a Christian, but...

Well, I'm not saying this is how all Christians, or any other follower of whatever religion they are, act, but I remember something my friend said that was very disturbing to me. She was pregnant, and was unsure of whether or not she'll miscarry. Somehow, we ended up talking about religion, and I mentioned something about how she'll be if she does have a miscarriage. She said, "Well, if I miscarry, then it's obviously God's will so it won't matter to me." :\ That truly, and honestly shocked me. Is this how a lot of Christians act? They just... dump all their problems on God, who gave us free will in the first place, and expect Him to take care of it all? Is this why parents might not feel the need to discipline their child? Because God will raise them right? :\ I'm just very confused here, and it sounds like a lot of Christians are just using God as a scapegoat so that they don't have to take any responsibility.
Sorry if I'm offending, and of course I'm not saying that all Christians are like that, but... just the impression I'm getting from this thread... it's just a little disturbing to me.

I agree, we are not miserable, I am very happy, I feel relieved every day just because I am a Child of God, people hear the Word, God loves you, He does not hate you, and if anyone has any Q's on Christianity, post them here, and we will answer, just don't criticize, cuz thats so dumb

I think a lot of people think the only way you can be happy is to experience all the things in this world. Like things of the flesh that are here that make them happy (immoral sex, drugs,etc.). They don't realize the inner peace kind of happiness that a true Christian experiences. They think because we're going without those things we are not happy. Guess the just don't really know us.

I agree. I have no problems or worries, I give them all to God to handle. Both me and my husband (former atheist) are extremely happy as is the rest of the family.Without the problems of everyday life it gives us more time together as a family.

i'm with you.... life is a choice - we choose to be happy or miserable. i try very hard to remember that each day is a gift from God, a clean slate in which to start again and try and live life according to His wishes!

You believe in God because you don't have to solve any of your own problems? Thats just silly and irresponsible.
