It depends on what is causing the dandruff. I have psoriasis and I keep an arsenal of shampoos for this condition. If is it dry flaky, scabby dandruff, them use T-Gel ( I get this type from using too much hair gel). If it is an itchy type but your scalp feels normal to oily, with oily flakes, then use Paul Mitchel Tea Tree shampoo. Prescription strength Nizoral is the best but you can get the over the counter version at most retailers. Those supermarket/drugstore brands are not gonna give you the relief you need.

I have it really bad too...Head and Shoulders isnt strong enough and leaves too much residue on my hair. T Gel uses coal tar and works really really well at getting rid of dandruff. It worked for me after two shampoos. Also, they make one that controls itcy scalp, which drives me crazy. I would highly recommend the T GEL

Selsun Blue works the quickest on dandruff but Head and shoulders also leaves your hair shiny and healthy. I mix head and shoulders with garnier fructis conditioner ='}

Use Head and shoulders regularly..

and then maybe once or twice a week use T/Gel
and that will get rid of it... then you can go back to whatever... and if it comes back... do the same thing...

We use Head-N-Shoulders. But they all work!

they're all decent, just look for selenium content in ingredients. it kills the fungus that can cause flaking.
